The AMC seeks a talented and enthusiastic Conservation Communications Associate to craft and execute conservation messaging and online advocacy campaigns, including social media-based campaigns. Our goal is to effectively engage our members, supporters, and the general public in influencing the outcome of priority conservation issues including, but not limited to: land and water protection; air quality, energy, and climate change; trails; and public lands management. This position will oversee our web-based Conservation Action Network and implement strategies to broaden the active membership of the network; collaborate with policy and communications staff to create and deliver compelling online action alerts and e-newsletters that advance both campaign strategies and organization-wide communication goals; and develop and update conservation content on AMC’s website ( This position will also have the opportunity to support coalition-based advocacy and online communication campaigns, develop training and organizing programs for conservation volunteers, and engage frontline staff in other parts of the organization in conservation messaging.


This is a full-time exempt position based in Boston, MA with excellent benefits and reporting to the Director of Conservation and Recreation Policy.
