Community Support Specialist—Police Liaison
Full time 37.50hr/wk position collaborating closely with Police Departments in Springfield/Windsor and other local Police Departments, this position accompanies and assists officers who come into contact with individuals with mental health, substance abuse and/or developmental disabilities. This position provides screening, crisis assessment, de-escalation, case management and referral to services if needed. The work also includes collaborating with various community providers. We are looking for a person with proven experience in crisis, first response and community mental health. A relevant Bachelor's degree is required with a MA preferred.
