Spring Lake Ranch Therapeutic Community (SLR) is a residential recovery community and farm offering a uniquely relational therapeutic setting, which supports and empowers people with mental health and addiction challenges to grow, thrive, gain independence, and seek their dreams. Through shared experience, meaningful work, and active participation in an accepting, diverse community, we help each person develop the confidence and skills to recover.
The Clinical Director/Assistant Director works closely with the Executive Director to manage the day to day operation of Spring Lake Ranch, oversees the continuum of client therapeutic and programming experience, supervises the clinical staff, oversees the crisis team, and supports family relations. Additional responsibilities include daily interaction with clients and staff; professional development/mentorship, administrative supervision; and clinical oversight of assessment, treatment planning, insurance review, and progress documentation in support of the recovery process for 80+ clients.
Ideal candidates must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or other closely related field, and clinical licensure is strongly preferred. Previous supervisory experience and the ability to empathetically and professionally supervise and empower the clinical staff is essential. Extensive experience in mental health and/or substance abuse recovery support is required. The Clinical Director/Assistant Director position is full time, primarily with day hours (8am-4pm), Mondays- Fridays, and is based at our Rutland, VT location.
