Campaign Manager (Protect Seals seafood boycott)

Humane Society International (HSI), the international division of The Humane Society of the United States, is seeking a Campaign Manager for its HSI/Canada department. The main responsibility of this position is to develop strategies for the Protect Seals seafood boycott campaign, including coordination and implementation. Other duties include, but are not limited to: recruit food retailers, restaurants, seafood distributors and food industry professionals to join the Protect Seals seafood boycott; promote the Protect Seals seafood boycott to media, government, corporations and the public; serve as spokesperson for the Protect Seals seafood boycott, effectively representing the organization to Canadian, US and international media and the public. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 3 years’ background experience in campaigns, or related field in a professional setting highly desired. Proven track record in team leadership, campaign advancement, and strong experience with media, preferred. Ability to travel regularly, both domestically and internationally, is essential. This position is located in Canada.
