Business Development for Museum Lover

Acoustiguide, a leading provider of interpretative content and technologies for museums and tourist sites, seeks a Business Development Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work at the nexus of art, culture, technology, and education. Use your business to business sales experience to represent Acoustiguide’s mobile interpretive products and services to existing and potential clients in the arts, tourism and heritage sectors. This position will focus on increasing the reach of our new mobile technologies and continuing to build upon our superior creative content development services. The job requirements include prospecting for new business opportunities, planning and writing proposals and presentations, budgeting, negotiating contracts and closing deals with current and new clients. You will also collaborate with colleagues in the Creative and Operations departments to implement content and technology solutions for clients. Regular travel is required.
Our ideal candidate should be confident and well-spoken. You must have experience in building client relationships preferably in the art and cultural or technology sectors and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multitasking, deadline-driven environment. Analytical skills and demonstrable ability to meet sales goals are a must. At least three years of progressive experience in business to business sales is required. A BA or equivalent is required. Valid driver’s license or ability to acquire one is required. An interest in the visual arts is preferred.
