Assistant Director of Mental Health Diversionary Services (ICS)

Full time position in an innovative community-based hospital diversion/step-down program to assist persons with mental health conditions who are endeavoring to achieve stability in the community. Primary responsibilities include assisting in the management of the daily clinical and administrative operations site based respite and mobile operations. Other responsibilities include clinical assessment, treatment planning, implementation and documentation, outreach, skills training, supportive counseling, case coordination, linkage, and transportation. Some after hours on-call responsibility.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in relevant clinical field (Social Work, Mental Health Counseling) plus Licensed Professional of the Healing Arts (LPHA) required. LICSW strongly preferred. Minimum of three years clinical experience in field required. Supervisory and/or management experience preferred. Valid driver’s license required. First Aid, CPR, and MAP certification within three months of hire required
