Hollis Montessori School is seeking an exceptional teacher at the Adolescent level to join our growing school starting August 2014. This guide will have the unique opportunity to work with a seasoned Adolescent guide and NAMTA (North American Montessori Teacher's Association) teacher trainer. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents, a dedication to Montessori standards, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with adolescents.
The position requires the skills to assist in teaching project-based subjects in humanities and occupations which include science, history, and literature. An ability for teaching algebra and geometry or Spanish a plus. A public school credential is not required. This program is project based and includes work in our apple orchard and creating a farm and land based program.
Hollis Montessori is an independent, non-profit school located in southern New Hampshire, currently serving 100 students from ages 3 through 9th grade.
