Handbooks and PoliciesAntioch University New England Employee ManualThis employee manual is intended to answer questions and provide information to Antioch University New England employees. It explains many of the procedures related to the policies contained in the Antioch University Human Resources Policy Manual (see below) as well as normal working guidelines. This manual is for general reference only and is not intended, in any way, to represent a contract. Antioch University New England reserves the right to revise, delete or add to any and all policies, procedures, working guidelines or benefits stated in this manual or in any document at any time. Employees will be notified of changes through the institution’s FirstClass communication system. Employees are encouraged to contact their supervisor or the Office of Human Resources whenever they need additional information or clarification, or if they wish to discuss a concern related to employment at Antioch. Antioch University Human Resources Policy ManualSexual Harassment Policy and Complaint ProceduresAntioch University New England is committed to providing a positive educational environment in which students, faculty and staff are engaged in the interconnected and interdependent endeavors of learning, instructing and providing support services. In order to foster and maintain the highest professional environment, to preserve the dignity of all and to guarantee individuals' freedom to learn and work, sexual harassment and assault are strictly prohibited. This policy applies to all members of the Antioch University New England community: students, faculty and staff persons. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including discharge or disenrollment from the Institution. Responsible Purchasing PolicyAntioch University New England (AUNE) is committed to the use and procurement of environmentally sustainable, ethically produced and socially responsible and inclusive products and services. AUNE will consider social justice and sustainability (SSJ) criteria as well as cost, convenience and quality in decisions regarding procurement and other business relationships. Given AUNE's strong and clear commitment to sustainability and social justice, as expressed in our statement of purpose, those engaging in purchasing decisions are strongly encouraged to prioritize SSJ criteria when there is a tension amongst competing purchasing criteria.
