The Herbarium At AUNE

  Yarrow

The herbarium at Antioch University New England is housed within the Environmental Studies Department. The collections include over 3000 plant specimens representing about 1000 species, primarily from the New England region. Specimens have been contributed to the herbarium by Environmental Studies Department faculty and students from 1976 to the present.

The Antioch New England herbarium is divided into several collections. The primary collection is housed in traditional herbarium format, mounted on 11.5 x 16.5 herbarium paper. A series of binders provides durable storage for heavy handling and use by students and is organized by season and type. Special collections include the Flora of Mount Monadnock and Mount Moosilauke.

The Herbarium collection may be searched using the form below. For further information please contact the Lab and Herbarium Coordinator at herbarium.ane@antioch.edu.
