Department of Organization & Management, 2006/2007

Practicum Requirements

Students in all degree programs offered by the Department of Organization & Management are required to do a minimum of two semesters of practicum work in an appropriate setting. The practicum generally takes place beginning in the second or third semester, concurrent with coursework.

MS in Management
MEd in Administration & Supervision (without Certification)
MEd in Administration & Supervision (with Certification as a School Principal)

Master of Science in Management

MS—40 credits

To earn the degree of MS, you must successfully complete a minimum of 40 credits, distributed as follows (course credit value denoted in parentheses):

To earn the MEd degree in Administration & Supervision, with certification, you must:

  1. enter the program having completed three years of teaching experience,
  2. satisfy the practicum requirement in a public school,
  3. successfully complete a course in Curriculum Development and/or Learning Theory, and,
  4. successfully complete a minimum of 40 credits, distributed as follows:
