To earn the MEd degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education with New Hampshire Elementary and/or Early Childhood Education Teaching Certification you must meet the general education requirements, and you must successfully complete a minimum of 40 credits distributed as follows:

Theoretical & Philosophical Foundations of Education Human Development Conceptual Development & Learning Theory Philosophy of Education	9 credits
Curriculum & Instruction Methods of Teaching Reading & Other Language Arts Science Concepts & Curriculum Concrete Approaches to Math Curriculum Integrated Learning: Theory into Practice Early Childhood Curriculum and Methods (EC Certification only)	9-11 credits
Educational & Social Policy Children with Special Needs School Law	3 credits
Electives The Department of Education encourages students to take a minimum of 2 credits in Social Studies Curriculum as part of their elective credits.	9-11 credits
Elementary and/or Early Childhood Internship 480-600 hours of supervised teaching in an approved Elementary and/or Early Childhood setting. Early Childhood internships can be in pre-school, kindergarten or readiness/transitional classrooms. Elementary internships can be in grades 1 - 6.	8-10 credits

To earn the MEd degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education with New Hampshire Elementary Certification you must meet the general education requirements, and you must successfully complete a minimum of 40 credits distributed as follows:

Education & Social Policy Children with Special Needs School Law	3 credits
Education & Environmental Studies Electives Choose from courses in Environmental Science, Field Ecology, Environmental Policy and Communications, or Education. The Department of Education encourages students to take a minimum of 2 credits in Social Studies Curriculum as part of their elective credits.	8 credits
Internships Students complete an initial, one semester-long internship in an approved, self-contained classroom assuming all the responsibilities of a teacher conducting integrated curriculum in a progressive elementary school. Students complete a second semester-long internship focusing on science or environmental education either at the elementary or middle school level. This internship could be conducted in a formal school setting or in an informal educational setting such as a nature center, education consulting organization, or a children’s museum.	8-10 credits

To earn the MEd degree with New Hampshire Elementary Education Teaching Certification and at the same time be endorsed as a Waldorf Teacher, you must meet the general education requirements, and you must successfully complete a minimum of 40 credits distributed as follows:
