Student Handbook 2011-2012

On behalf of all faculty and staff, I am pleased to welcome you to Antioch University New England. The Antioch University New England community is made up of students, faculty, and staff of diverse backgrounds and experience. Students come to our campus from throughout the U.S. and around the world to pursue graduate study and change the world for the better. We share a common commitment to Antioch University's mission with our colleagues at the other Antioch University campuses in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Seattle, and Yellow Springs, Ohio

This Student Handbook contains the official policies of Antioch University New England covering the areas of academic and enrollment, administrative, and financial policies as well as information about campus resources and academic support. All AUNE departments are guided by the policies and procedures contained in this Handbook and you are responsible for knowing and adhering to them. I encourage you to become familiar with these policies early in your graduate studies and to review specific policies and procedures when needed.

In designing these policies, we have balanced the institution's responsibility for determining academic standards, program structure and degree requirements with each student's responsibility for developing the paths to fulfill these requirements in ways that best meet their individual needs and goals.

AUNE reserves the right to revise or modify these policies or create new policies at any time as deemed necessary and appropriate. Such changes will always be announced sufficiently in advance so as to minimize any prejudicial impact on individual students.

Again, welcome to Antioch University New England. I sincerely hope your graduate studies are both personally and professionally challenging and rewarding.

David Caruso, PhD
President
