Bequests

Over the years, Antioch University New England has been the recipient of bequests, large and small, from alumni and friends. A charitable bequest enables you to provide for AUNE through your will and receive an estate tax deduction. You have the opportunity to plan now with AUNE for the use of a future gift without parting with assets during your lifetime.

As an example, your bequest may be a stated dollar amount, or it may be a bequest of specific property to AUNE. Still another option is to bequeath a certain percentage of your estate (the amount that remains after paying all debts, costs, and other prior legacies). Whichever form you prefer, you can direct that your bequest be used for Antioch University New England’s current needs, or you can indicate that your bequest is to be added to an existing endowment fund, establish a named endowment, or restrict it to other specific purposes.

Whatever your objectives, we will work with you to ensure your bequest will be effective in carrying out your wishes in Antioch University New England’s important mission.

Before finalizing any planned gift or bequest to Antioch University New England, please speak with the Office of Development to ensure AUNE will be able to honor your gift as you intend. You should consult a lawyer when creating or changing your will.
