Jonathan Daniels ScholarshipHistoryBuilding on Antioch University New England’s history of commitment to social justice and diversity, in 2003 we established the Jonathan Daniels Scholarship. The purpose of the scholarship is to increase the diversity of the student body in its racial, ethnic, cultural, international, and socio-economic make-up, and to encourage service to underserved groups. EligibilityAll full-time Antioch New England students, whether new or returning, are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Scholarship funds are limited; therefore, not all applicants will receive an award. Application ProcessEach applicant must fill out a scholarship application form (PDF 37K). As part of the application process, students must also file a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), available online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. Applicants who would rather use a paper version of FAFSA should contact the Office of Financial Aid by phones at 603.283.2365, by fax at 603.357.7563, or email. “The purpose of the scholarship is to increase the diversity of the student body in its racial, ethnic, cultural, international, and socio-economic make-up, and to encourage service to underserved groups.”
Note to international students:Since the FAFSA is geared toward U.S. citizens and the U.S. tax system, instead please describe your financial situation, including the resources you have available for living and tuition, and attach it to the scholarship application. Supplemental questionsEach academic department may have supplemental questions. Applicants should contact their departments for deadline information and to ensure they have completed all the required information. AwardingThe completed scholarship form, along with relevant information from the Office of Financial Aid, will be forwarded to each academic department for decisions. Once decisions are made, departments will contact students with their awards. Awards range from $500 to 50 percent of tuition for a given year. Awards are made annually and students are encouraged to reapply. | ||||
