David Caruso Innovation Scholarship

Overview

Six scholarships of $2500 each will be awarded for the 2014-15 academic year, beginning with Summer 2014. Scholarships will be awarded to incoming students based on an essay describing how they would aspire to use their AUNE education to foster innovation and bring to life their best new ideas for creating positive change.

Scholarships will be renewed for a second year, assuming the student continues to be enrolled at least half time and is making satisfactory academic progress.

Eligibility

New incoming Antioch University New England students are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Scholarship funds are limited; therefore, not all applicants will receive an award.

Application Process

Each applicant must fill out a scholarship application form (PDF 37K) and submit an essay. As part of the application process, students must also file a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), available online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. Applicants who would rather use a paper version of FAFSA should print one from the FAFSA website listed under FAFSA filing options.

Note to International Students:

Since the FAFSA is geared toward U.S. citizens and the U.S. tax system, instead please describe your financial situation, including the resources you have available for living and tuition, and attach it to the scholarship application.

Supplemental Questions

Each academic department may have supplemental questions. Applicants should contact their departments for deadline information and to ensure they have completed all the required information.

Awarding

The completed scholarship form, along with relevant information from the Office of Financial Aid, will be forwarded to each academic department for decisions. Once decisions are made, departments will contact students with their awards.
