ES PhD: Environmental Education and Learning Theory
By environmental education, we refer to the various ways individuals, groups, institutions, and cultures learn about human/nature relationships and educational approaches for teaching ecology, natural history, and environmental studies. This involves teaching and learning practices in a wide variety of settings—from the trail to the classroom, from nature centers to public forums, from the mass media to the Internet.
