Liberia Intervention Strategies for Urban Environmental Services

Faculty Member: Michael Simpson Liberia Post-Conflict Infrastructure Project This project was funded under grant from the EU's Collaborative Working Group, St. Galen, Switzerland in conjunction with the International Rescue Committee. The goals were to develop labor-based, micro-enterprises that address the urban collection of waste, provide clean drinking water and assist in the removal of waste water. This project conforms with the United Nation's Sustainability Millennium Goals, for the improvement in environment quality, public health and poverty alleviation.
