The Murie Center

lodging at The Murie CenterThe retreat will be held at the Historic Murie Center inside Grand Teton National Park in Moose, Wyoming. The Murie Center, sometimes called “conservation’s home” sits on the south fork of the Snake River and is a small enclave of buildings nestled in a meadow of sage and sticky geranium. The ranch is surrounded by dense forest. It was here, on this unassuming site, that the Wilderness Act and the modern conservation movement were born. The mission of the Murie Center is to “bring people together to inspire action that protects nature.”

An enclave of cabins and a bathhouse surround the retreat center which houses the meeting spaces and dining facility. Find details on lodging and additional information on the Murie Center through these links.
