The Department of Environmental Studies at Antioch University New England requests nominations for its Environmental Service Awards. For award information and nomination form please see below. If you would like to submit a nomination, please do so by providing the committee chair with:
- Your name and address,
- The name and address of your nominee, and
- Why your nominee should receive this award.
Send your nomination electronically or via US Mail to the awards committee chair by March 1st.
The Environmental Service Awards are given to a community member and an alumni who have made outstanding contributions to the sustainability of the environment through professional or personal actions. The nominee should, through their actions, lifestyle, or writing, demonstrate a passion and commitment to promoting or enhancing our environment or elevating the quality of our relationship to it. This person can be a teacher, natural resource manager, conservationist, activist, legislator, philanthropist, writer, businessperson, lawyer or in any profession or trade.
Alumni Award for Environmental Excellence
Given to an alumni of the Department of Environmental Studies who has demonstrated a commitment to the environment through outstanding professional or personal actions.
Environmental Excellence Award
Given to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the sustainability of the environment through professional or personal actions.
