As vice president of Academic Affairs, Dr. Treadwell leads AUNE’s academic mission within the ever-changing landscape of higher education. In this  role, she focuses on understanding the complexities of a given challenge by being an active and compassionate listener with a committment to community well being. She brings an analytical approach to her decision making and strives to practice servant leadership in her work.

Dr. Treadwell earned a BS in Occupational/Industrial Safety from Keene State College (KSC) and a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Dartmouth Medical School.

After earning her degree at KSC, she worked as a corporate toxicologist for Lockheed Martin Marietta; as a public health policy analyst and program manager for the State of New Hampshire; and as a senior policy analyst for the Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management.

After earning her PhD, she returned to her undergraduate alma mater where she began a 14 year tenure at Keene State College serving as a faculty member, dean of Professional and Graduate Studies, and finally, as provost.
