Overview

Received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Antioch University New England in 1999 and her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Boston College . She completed her pre-doctoral internship through Harvard Medical School at the Brockton/West Roxbury Veteran’s Administration providing psychological services to combat veterans struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder and their families. Dr. Campbell’s postdoctoral fellowship included work on a federally funded research project through SAMSHA, which addressed the psychological needs of rural women who had experienced trauma in their lives, as well as the needs of their children. Dr. Campbell has a commitment to public mental health and has spent the last seven years providing training, supervision, school consultation, as well as direct care in a non-profit, public mental health clinic in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Dr. Campbell’s interests include developing innovative and strength-based treatment models for children, and their families, who have experienced traumatic events. She is a member of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and has received training through the Red Cross in Mental Health Disaster response. Dr. Campbell is a licensed clinical psychologist in Massachusetts.
