Received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Antioch New England University in 2003, his master’s degree in religion from Yale Divinity School in 1978, and his bachelor’s degree from Trinity College in 1975. He completed his predoctoral and postdoctoral training at the Danielsen Institute (Boston University).
Dr. Hammer practices as a licensed, clinical psychologist in Vermont at the United Counseling Services. His practice includes working with the VT Blueprint for Health, a state-wide project that integrates mental health and primary care services. He continues to pursue his special interest in peace psychology as a member of the Psychologist for Social Responsibility.
