Elizabeth Goldstein holds a doctorate from the University of Maine and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in posttraumatic stress and disaster mental health with the National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. From 2003 until 2013 she was on the medical staff at the White River Junction Veterans Medical Center. Her roles during that time included Director of PTSD Services and Director of Mental Health Services at a VA outpatient clinic serving Burlington, VT. Currently, she has a private practice in Burlington, VT. While she uses many approaches to therapy in her practice, she has reached master clinician status in cognitive processing therapy for posttraumatic stress disorder. Teaching is one of her passions, and she is excited that the move to private practice affords her more time for it. In her free time, she can often be found at a park playing with her two year old daughter.
