Holding the Whole - Exploring the Lenses Through Which We Observe and an Experiental Overview of Anthroposophic Therapies

with Dr. Alicia Landman Reiner & Kim John Payne

Children, teens, families and society are often being viewed through the lens of pathology. This often leads to labeling and seeing the whole being of the child as disordered. What is the healthy image that we wish to foster? There we can find a template for health or what is becoming known as Salutogenesis.

Some of the lenses we will explore will be:

  • The Threefold Lens: The polarity that can lead to inherent disease and the mediating intrinsic healing system we foster in childhood.
  • The Fourfold Lens: How can we, as fundamentally spirit beings, manage to live and organize ourselves inwardly and in the world?
  • The Sevenfold Lens: An introduction to how are we imprinted with archetypal ‘soul gestures’ that come strongly into play in adolescence and beyond.
