Overview
Gail currently has a private psychotherapy practice in Brattleboro, VT. Her specific areas of expertise include trauma, women’s health, domestic violence, substance abuse and mood disorders. Her clients are adolescents, adults and seniors. In addition to being a DBT trainer and clinician, she specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, utilizes EMDR and views clients through a systemic lens, having concentrated in family systems work when she attended Antioch. Prior to graduating from Antioch in 1995, Gail has been a registered nurse working in mental health field since 1975. (except for enjoying full-time mothering for five years!)
Aside from her professional life, Gail’s “life loves” include Sufism, swimming and sailing, biking, traveling, reading, gardening, her dog Charlie, friendships, mothering adult children, and her husband and partner, Davis.
She is a member of the Mental Health Counselors Association of Vermont, the American Counselors Association and the New England Clinical Hypnosis Association.
