Received his MEd from Antioch University New England, his B.A. from Bowdoin College in German literature and political science and Waldorf Teacher Certification from Emerson College, Sussex, England. He was a class teacher and special subject teacher at the Pine Hill Waldorf School for 21 years, where he also served as faculty chairman, trustee, development and construction director. He is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Center for Anthroposophy and author of Learning about the World through Modeling: Sculptural Ideas for School and Home.
