Overview

I am excited to bring my interest in leadership and change into the sustainability arena. Leadership fascinates me—from what motivates an individual to pursue a formal leadership role to the skills, talents, and personal fortitude needed to lead a large scale change effort. Leadership is messy and elegant; change is uncomfortable and exhilarating. Both require the competence and commitment of leaders, followers, community members and engaged citizens. And in this environment of increasing complexity, sustainability champions must call upon their passion, intelligence, integrity, and vision for the future in order to be effective.

My interests are in leadership development, personal and professional leadership identity, and women academic leaders.
