“I believe that a person is the only one who can change themselves and their situations, and one has to want change for change to occur. I feel therapy is a collaborative process, and the therapist is learning as much as the client is. It is the therapist’s job to provide resources and insight as to options for different situations. The therapist is an ally and support system, as well as a mentor. There is no problem too small to bring to therapy.”
