  • To train excellent family therapists

Who We Are

Approximately twenty-five students per year serve as clinicians at the Institute. Sometimes clients will be served by a single clinician, sometimes a pair of clinicians working together as co-therapists, and sometimes a small team of therapists working at the same time with the client. Therapy teams are usually reserved for couples and families. Co-therapy and small teams do not cost the client any more per session. All clinician interns are graduate-level (master’s and doctoral) students and are supervised by faculty of the Marriage and Family Therapy graduate program of Antioch University New England. Videotape and audiotape of therapy sessions are used for supervision and then erased unless clients are volunteers for research or other projects. Services are confidential and the Institute complies with all HIPAA and professional accreditation (COAMFTE) requirements.
