Internships

  • Students complete an initial, one semester-long internship in an approved, self-contained classroom assuming all the responsibilities of a teacher conducting integrated curriculum in a progressive elementary school. Students complete a second semester-long internship focusing on science or environmental education either at the elementary or middle school level. This internship could be conducted in a formal school setting or in an informal educational setting such as a nature center, education consulting organization, or a children’s museum.
