Torin Finser, chair of the Department of Education at Antioch University New England (AUNE), has published a new book, titled Initiative: A Rosicrucian Path of Leadership.
“Initiative: A Rosicrucian Path of Leadership is about the rewarding struggle to create meaningful initiative in our time,” says a review on the website Waldorf Today. “Torin Finser explores different aspects of initiative in a way that speaks to the young, the young at heart and the young in all of us.”
The book’s four chapters are: Living a Spiritual Life in an Age of Materialism, Freedom and Initiative, Innovation, and Planetary Leadership. Initiative is published by SteinerBooks Anthroposophic Press.
Finser is the General Secretary of the Anthroposophical Society in America. He is the author of five other books: School as a Journey, In Search of Ethical Leadership, School Renewal, Organizational Integrity, and Silence is Complicity.
