Being prepared was the topic of the day at the Horatio Colony Nature Preserve on Saturday, August 14th. Second-year student David Steinberger and incoming AUNE student Andy Patari taught a group of Keene residents what they should have in their packs to stay safe while hiking. David is a student intern at AUNE’s Antioch New England Institute (ANEI), where he plans and organizes activities at the Horatio Colony Nature Preserve. This nature workshop was one of six co-hosted by ANEI and Keene’s Horatio Colony Museum this summer.
