Dr. Martha Straus, professor of clinical psychology, will present a series of workshops, titled All the Rage: Helping Traumatized Adolescent Girls in Crisis, for the New York State Initiative on Suicide Prevention on October 31 – Schenectady, New York.
She will present Day by Day: Making a Difference in the Lives of Traumatized and Suicidal Children and Adolescents, a day-long workshop sponsored by the New York State Initiative on Suicide Prevention:
- November 1– Parsons Child and Family Center, Albany, New York
- November 22– New York Foundling Hospital, New York City.
Straus will also present these events:
- October 10 and 11– Working with High-Risk Adolescents: Love and Attachment in Families and Therapy, a two-day workshop for clinicians and line staff working with First Nation youth, Kenora, Ontario
- November 8– Keynote address at the annual meeting of the Vermont Adoption Consortium, Lake Morey Resort, Fairlee, Vermont.
