Simpson Joins a Climate Change Panel for The New Republic May 6

Michael Simpson, chair of AUNE’s Department of Environmental Studies, will speak as part of a panel for Frontier of Climate Change:  State and Local Action in New England, on Tuesday, May 6, at St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire.

The event is hosted by The New Republic and the League of Women Voters, and covers federal and state perspectives on climate change. In addition to panels of experts, there will be interviews with Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin, Curt Spalding, New England administrator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Dan Utech, President Obama’s special assistant for energy and climate change.
