Martha Straus to Lead Workshop on Helping Traumatized Adolescents

Dr. Martha Straus, professor of clinical psychology at AUNE, will conduct a workshop titled Undoing Aloneness: Strategies for Co-Regulation in Traumatized Adolescents, at the Vermont Foster and Adoptive Family Association Spring Conference on March 24 in Burlington, Vermont.

Dr. Brian Denietolis, PsyD ’10, will teach the workshop with Straus. Denietolis is a psychologist at the University of Massachusetts Adolescent Continuing Care Unit at Worcester State Hospital, a practicum site for AUNE PsyD students, and an AUNE alumnus.

Straus is also an adjunct instructor in psychiatry at Dartmouth Medical School. She consults, and conducts workshops on children, adolescent and family development, attachment, trauma and therapy. She is the author of Adolescent Girls in Crisis: Intervention and Hope, and No-Talk Therapy for Children and Adolescents.
