ES Doctoral Student Helps Lead Initiative in the Adirondacks

Brett McLeod, a PhD student in AUNE’s Department of Environmental Studies, was interviewed recently by North Country Public Radio about the Adirondack Center for Working Landscapes, a new collaboration between Paul Smith’s College and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Franklin County.

Brett has been an instructor in the School of Natural Resource Management and Ecology at Paul Smith’s College in upstate New York since 2006. The collaborative project has evolved from Brett’s service-project work, his position at Paul Smith’s, and a book, related to his AUNE dissertation topic, that he is writing.
