Susan Hawes, PhD, professor of clinical psychology, has had three presentation proposals accepted by the 30th International Congress of Psychology – Psychology Serving Humanit. The conference will take place in late July, 2012, in Cape Town, South Africa, the first such congress to be held in Africa.
Her paper is entitled Introducing International Psychology to U.S. Professional Psychology Trainees. She will present two posters, Extending Critical History to U.S. Professional Psychology Training and Preliminary Results from an Assessment Study of Services for HIV-positive Children Living in Soweto.
The International Congress of Psychology – Psychology Serving Humanity will highlight how psychology translates its science and practice into the knowledge, skills and tools that are able to underpin the human condition.
