The Center for Tropical Ecology and Conservation will hold a brown bag seminar, “Cat Conservation in the Tropics,” from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, in Science Lab 1. The event is free and open to the public.
Amber Kleiman and Erica Hermsen, master’s students in the Department of Environmental Studies, traveled to the tropics for their internships. Kleiman studied ocelots in the cloud forests in Ecuador. Hermsen looked at human-cheetah interactions in Kenya. Come hear about their experiences and about wildlife in the tropics.
