We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the cancellation of the Richard Louv lecture scheduled for Saturday evening, 17 March 2007. Mr. Louv was scheduled to address the Promise of Place conference in Fairlee, Vermont early on Saturday afternoon and then join us in Keene that evening. Because of the storm, his flights from St. Louis to Manchester were cancelled and he was unable to reschedule any flights that would get him to Keene by Saturday evening. Both lectures were cancelled. He has expressed his apologies and we’re disappointed that we weren’t able to further the conversation about connecting children and nature in the Monadnock Region.
We have initiated conversations with Mr. Louv about rescheduling his lecture. Our hope is to schedule this for sometime this spring. However, due to scheduling challenges, we might not be able to schedule this until next fall. Again, our apologies and we hope you enjoyed the snow with your family and friends.
