AUNE Student and Alumna Featured in EE Week Webinar April 3

Ruth Kermish-Allen, a doctoral student in Environmental Studies and education director at the Island Institute in Rockland, Maine, and Rachel Thompson, MEd ’11, education programs associate at the institute, will present a webinar, “21st Century Tools for Environmental Learning in the Community,” on April 3. It is for the National Environmental Education Foundation, as  part of EE Week 2013: Taking Technology Outdoors, the National Environmental Education Week.

Kermish-Allen and Thompson will introduce the organization and talk about  strategies for integrating technology into community-based environmental education programs.

The free webinar, organized by Green Teacher, a nonprofit publisher of resources to help educators, will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. You can find out more and register  here.
