James Osbourne, MEd ’04, an elementary school teacher at Southern New Hampshire Montessori Academy in Londonderry, New Hampshire, will set out October 12 to participate in the Million Dollar Challenge, a 600-mile, week-long charity ride. He’s not your average cyclist, though—James lost his foot and leg to frostbite after a hiking trip nearly six years ago.
The Million Dollar Challenge raises money for the Challenged Athletes Foundation. Read James’ inspiring story in this article in the Union Leader and NewHampshire.com, and see how you can sponsor him for the Challenge.
James earned his MEd in AUNE’s Integrated Learning/Teacher Certification program.
