Antioch University Bucks the Trend—Tuition for New Students in Nature-Based Education Certificate Program is Going Down!

Thinking about bringing nature-based education to your school? It’s time to do something about it. New students to the Nature-based Early Childhood Certificate program at Antioch University New England (AUNE) will benefit from a new 25 percent discount on their tuition rates.

First-time students to AUNE’s new certificate program are eligible for a 25 percent reduction on the first twelve credits taken from July 1, 2014, to June 30, 2015.

Tuition reductions will continue for nonmatriculated students on courses taken at least through the summer of 2014.  The cost of these credits is reduced by 50 percent, to $230 per credit.  Nonmatriculated students who start to take courses in summer 2015 will be able to take up to three credits only at this reduced rate and will be able to transfer up to only three credits into the certificate program.

The Nature-Based Early Childhood Professional Development Certificate Program is a professional development option for teachers and administrators who are early childhood education professionals.  The program is a series of courses over thirteen months, from summer to summer. If students take the courses for credit and are interested in a master’s degree, they can transfer these credits into the Elementary and Early Childhood Teacher Certification/Integrated Learning Program within five years.
