ANE Environmental Studies Students Help Keene Businesses Reduce Carbon

Sarah Harpster, from the Environmental Advocacy and Organizing Program, and Katie Stoner, from Environmental Education, have been working with Clean Air-Cool Planet and the City of Keene on a pilot project to encourage businesses in downtown Keene to reduce their carbon emissions by 10%. Harpster and Stoner adopted this initiative as their Advocacy Clinic project during the Fall 2007 semester. The Keene Sentinel featured their work in the Sunday, April 6 edition of the paper.
