Winners of the the 2011 Campus Compact for New Hampshire Presidents’ Awards for excellence in community service were honored April 12 in Nashua.

The Presidents’ Leadership Award was presented to the Support Group for Ethnic and Racial Diversity (SERD), a student organization of AUNE’s Department of Clinical Psychology and an arm of the Multicultural Center for Research and Practice. It was founded to promote multiculturalism locally and disaster volunteer outreach internationally.

The President’s Good Steward Award was presented to Elizabeth (Libby) McCann, a core faculty member in AUNE’s Department of Environmental Studies and the director of the Environmental Education Program.

The President’s Community Partner Award was given to Working Families Win-New Hampshire, an advocacy organization that collaborates with AUNE on social justice initiatives.
