DMT Admissions Prerequisites

Applicants to the program in Dance / Movement Therapy and Counseling do not need to have an undergraduate degree in dance or psychology. However, applicants are expected to have had significant background in some kind of movement (formal dance classes, yoga, ballet, modern, folk, etc.) as well as at least some college-level classes in psychology.

All students must also have a 3-credit class in kinesiology before they graduate from the program, but that can be taken at Antioch University New England.
