Clinical Mental Health Counseling Sequence of Study - Applied Psychology - Antioch University New England

CMHC - Sequence of Study

Both Fall and Spring entries require 6 semesters of coursework, with Spring being the more concentrated entry point. All students have two semesters of coursework prior to the practicum. Fall-entering students are in class on campus one day a week the first year. Spring-entering students also attend class two days a week in their first summer. All students combine classes one day a week and fieldwork two to three days a week in years two and three.

Students entering in the spring semester begin their studies in January and continue in classes through the summer. During their first year, Spring-entering students attend classes one day a week in the spring and two days a week in the following summer. Students must also secure a practicum site for the fall. The Summer semester carries a 7-credit course load in a six-week intensive session.
