Autism Spectrum Disorders Workshops and Events

The Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders Training offers courses and workshops that focus on the training needs of professionals working with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. The center runs the Autism Spectrum Disorders Certificate Program, and the Applied Behavior Analysis Certificate Program, as well as Autism and Asperger related conferences and pragmatic language workshops.

Antioch University New England (AUNE) is pleased to offer continuing education contact hours for each of these workshops. Each day of programming must be attended in its entirety in order for participants to receive credit. Partial credit will not be awarded.

A one-day workshop for parents and professionals working with individuals on the spectrum

Educators
Certificates of Attendance will be issued to all participants.

National Board Certified Counselors
The Department of Applied Psychology of Antioch University New England is an NBCC-approved Continuing Education Provider and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. AUNE is solely responsible for all aspects of the program. (Provider #4338)

Psychologists
Antioch University New England is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. AUNE maintains responsibility for the program and its content.

Marriage and Family Therapists
Antioch University New England is recognized by the New Hampshire Association of Marriage and Family Therapy to offer continuing education. We adhere to NHAMFT continuing education guidelines.

Speech Pathologists
These activities may be used to meet the ASHA certification maintenance requirement if you determine that (1) the content is relevant to your area of practice and your practice setting and (2) you are in your 3-year maintenance interval. You do not need prior approval from ASHA to use this activity. You will be provided with the appropriate documentation of attendance. For more information on acceptable activities and your record keeping responsibilities, contact ASHA at 800.498.2071.
