ABA CertificationThe Applied Behavior Analysis Certificate (ABA) program is designed to prepare graduates to meet the educational requirements to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA®). Students who hold a master's degree will be working to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®). Students with a bachelor's degree will be working to become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA®). Acceptable DegreesEffective January 2011, an applicant must have the appropriate degree "from an accredited university, that was conferred in behavior analysis or other natural science, education, human services, engineering, medicine or a field related to behavior analysis and approved by the BACB. If your degree was conferred in behavior analysis or one of the approved academic areas listed below, you do not need to take any action.
