Monadnock Pathways & Trails Initiative
In 2006, the Monadnock Pathways and Trails Initiative was a broad coalition of pathway and trail users, landowners, local, regional, and state government, and other interested individuals and organizations.
Monadnock Pathways enhanced and supported communication and coordination among the coalition in order to preserve and maintain a cohesive network of trails that reflects community values, the environment and character of the region.
This year we are pursuing new funding opportunities to re-initiate the project with a focus on Active Transportation, enhanced commuting access for both pedestrians and bicyclists in the Monadnock region. Please contact Michele Chalice Throop for more information.
