Directions to the Horatio Colony Nature Preserve

From Keene, follow Rte. 9 West for 1.5 miles from the junction of Rts. 9, 10 & 12 through one set of lights. Turn left onto Daniel's Hill Rd. (.5 miles at Base Hill Rd.). The parking lot is .2 miles uphill on the left – look for “Horatio Colony Nature Preserve” sign.

The metal driveway gate is closed to limit erosion caused by vehicles. Upon request, Preserve staff will unlock it for large groups that need to use the upper parking lot – call (603) 352-0460 or (603) 283-2115. To access the trailhead, walk around the gate to the top of the driveway. Please enjoy and respect this unique natural area.
